Lancehead snakes,
scientifically known as Bothrops are
commonly referred to as: lanceheads,
American lanceheads and
American lance-headed vipers. There are 32 species of
Lancehead Snakes and more deaths in the United
States are a result of lancehead snake than
any other group of venomous snake.
